Welcome to the Wespenhof at Rattendorf

Rattendorf is situated in the Gail Valley, approximately 10 kms west of the town of Hermagor. It is less than 1 hour’s drive away from the major city of Villach, and just over two hour’s drive from Salzburg.

The Wespenhof apartment house is in the middle of the village. We are just across from the village square, where a host of colourful activities take place in the summer, including concerts and art exhibitions, as well as more traditional events like the Kirchtag (literally ‘Church Day’), which actually lasts three days and involves music and dancing to the wee small hours and a parades and marching bands, all in traditional costume.
